Player Power Rankings: Middle relievers

With a plethora of NL starting pitchers having great seasons, you can't really blame Florida manager Jack McKeon for not picking any middle relievers for his squad that will appear at next Tuesday's All-Star Game in Houston, but that shouldn't keep you from congratulating Joe Torre for picking Tom Gordon and Francisco Rodriguez for the AL staff.

For years, middle relievers have had the most thankless job in the game. They don't enjoy the exposure of a starter and never see the glory reserved for closers. So this week I'm going to join Torre in recognizing the top middle relievers in baseball this season.
