Stephen Strasburg caused some panic in Washington D.C. last night when he was unexpectedly scratched from his start against the Braves. It turns out the rookie right-hander has shoulder inflammation, and will be given some rest. This obviously left some fans at Nationals Park very unhappy because they paid to see Strasburg, but got Miguel Batista. However, Batista took the anger in stride and even offered up this analogy: "Imagine if you go to see Miss Universe, then you end up having Miss Iowa, you might get those kind of boos." Based on 2009's Miss Universe, Stefania Fernandez, we understand what Batista means.

As you know by now, Terrell Owens signed with the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday. This caused Chad Ochocinco to basically lose his (word I can't use on SI.com) on Twitter. He compared he and Owens to Batman and Robin, Siskel and Ebert, Ying and Yang and Bonnie and Clyde. He challenged LeBron James and his Heat cohorts to a game of 3 on 3. And he Tweeted out this pretty solid Photoshopped picture of he and Owens as Simon and Garfunkel.
