Hot Clicks: Amber Leigh Hartman; Keion Bell dunks over seven people

Publish date:

The Texas Rangers bounced back from a tough defeat in which they blew a 5-0 lead in Game 1 of the ALCS to take a 2-1 series lead after Cliff Lee put on a clinic last night. And now they get to face A.J. Burnett, who finished the season by going 1-7 with a 7.43 over the final two months of the season. On top of all that, they have some dedicated and passionate fans, as is the case with Amber Leigh Hartman, who works at Dallas' 105.3 FM.

When the Rangers poured it on the Yankees in the ninth inning last night, I flipped over to the football game to get one last score (can you say Titans -2 1/2?) before going to bed. It was 23-3 Tennessee with about five minutes left and the game was over. Then this morning, I found out that Chris Johnson ripped off a 35-yard touchdown run on fourth down with 1:48 remaininb. This not only led to a must-hear call from the Jacksonville radio announcers, but it had to swing numerous fantasy games across the country.

No Such Thing As Garbage Time

The Florida Gators haven't experience much losing in recent years, so their fans are not handling the team's current slump too well. In fact, they've put an ad for an offensive coordinator on Craigslist. Hopefully, Michigan fans will come through and do the same for a defensive coordinator so I have another item for a future edition of Hot Clicks.

If every Page Six story about Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez's dating life is true, such as the latest one that claims he's dating a Houston sports reporter, then his strong play this season is even more impressive because it doesn't seem like he'd have much time to study his playbook.

Sanchez Stays Busy?

Pleasure Ridge Park High School (Louisville, Ky.) scores a touchdown with 1.8 seconds remaining to take a 41-34 lead against Butler. Then, Butler does this on the ensuing kickoff. Read the game story after you watch the video.
