After doing a couple of fun interviews with the Rangers' C.J. Wilson (read them here and here), I've been asked a lot how I feel about his pitching against the Yankees. While I'll always root for the Yankees, I'd like to see Wilson do well because he's been kind to Hot Clicks. That said, no matter how he pitches ( here's Wilson's description of his performance Wednesday), he deserves props for dating SI Swimsuit modelDominique Piek.

Unless you're a Phillies fan, it's hard not to enjoy what's going on in San Francisco. The team is filled with characters and is fun to watch. The Giants' ace looks like he could've starred in Dazed and Confused. They have the best rookie, who can hit and play the field. Their postseason hero has an interesting quirk regarding his name. And they just received several boxes of rally thongs to help them get through the rest of the postseason.

Giant Fun

Everyone knows the New York Knicks have become a joke under owner James Dolan, so you'd think the franchise would try to cater to loyal die-hards a little bit. But noooo. Instead, the organization fires popular radio play-by-play man Gus Johnson. At least we have this.

Gus Gone

Remember when Arkansas' Bobby Petrino coached the Atlanta Falcons for about five minutes before quitting midseason? Well, Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer hasn't forgotten. With Cincy visiting Atlanta this week, Zimmer was asked about his time on Petrino's staff and he WENT OFF!

The story behind this youth hockey league goal celebration, and the celebration itself, is simply outstanding.

Deion Sanders is upset about his placement on the NFL Network's list of the top 100 players of all time, so earlier this week he and Michael Irvin assaulted Steve Mariucci, who had a vote. (Thanks to Goldwyn Harper, of Pittsburgh, for the link.)

Sports Video Of The Day

In Tuesday's A.M. Hot Clicks, I posted video of Kentucky women's basketball coach Matthew Mitchell's doing an impressive version of the Dougie. Texas A&M president Dr. R. Bowen Loftin also attempted the dance during his school's Midnight Madness, and while he wasn't as smooth as Mitchell, the effort was way funnier. (Thanks to Kyle W., of Katy, Texas, for the video.)
