It's been a while since we've had some good soccer WAG news, but this story will certainly fill that void. Manchester City's Mario Balotelli broke up with his Italian model girlfriend, Melissa Castagnoli, via text message. Castagnoli got the text right before she was to go on a live TV show, so she ended up reading the texts on the air. It's just stunning that the pair couldn't make things work. Apparently they met on Facebook. I don't think Castagnoli will have a hard time bouncing back.

This rant by Washington radio host Chad Dukes (and to a lesser degree, former Redskin LaVarr Arrington) is a must-listen. I strongly recommend carving out 13 minutes to listen to the whole thing (you don't want to miss gems such as "There was a homicide that took place last night," and "You owe us money. We're not whores and you're not pimps," and "You spit in our faces."), but if you really don't have the time, fast forward to the 8:50 mark and go from there.
