Lots of wild stuff happened since I last left you on Dec. 23. One of the things I still can't seem to get over is the 7-9 Seahawks making the playoffs and hosting a playoff game. Via, Seattle sits at an 11-point home underdog against New Orleans and I'd bet that number increases as we get closer to Saturday. Obviously, the Seahawks should feel no shame in getting to the postseason despite being a bad team, and that was evident in Pete Carroll's over-the-top postgame speech after his team beat the Rams in a snoozefest. What the hell will he do if his team shocks the world and beat New Orleans? Anyway, I don't want to come off as overly anti-Seattle here, so I will give them props for one thing: Actress Amber Lancaster, who stars in MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger, is a former Seahawks cheerleader.

In yet another example of how fast the Web moves, the man (named Ted Williams) has already been offered a job by the Cleveland Cavaliers. No confirmation yet on whether this follow-up "report" is true.
