Last night's Old Dominion-Virginia Commonwealth game was delayed for almost 10 minutes because after Old Dominion mascot imitated LeBron James' powder toss, the powder got it all over the court. (Thanks to George Adams, of Richmond, Va., for the link.)

Mascot Mishap

Alex Mertz, of Akron, Ohio, says, "Check out this highlight video of the Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, Ohio). They were predicted to go 2-8 and overcame the odds to finish 11-1, winning the Suburban League and completing only the second undefeated regular season in school history." The video is very "Friday Night Lights-ish" and I mean that in a good way.

Sports Video Of The Day

The film Soul Surfer is about the true story of Bethany Hamilton, who lost her left arm after getting attacked by a shark. The trailer looks good and it features NHL WAG, Carrie Underwood. (Thanks to Jeff, of Franklin, Tenn., for the tip.)
