The Richmond Spiders are the highest-seeded team (No. 12) to advance to the Sweet 16, but the biggest Cinderella story is VCU. The 11th-seeded Rams had to beat USC in a play-game (sorry, I won't call it the first round), to make the NCAA tournament and now they're set to play Florida State on Friday after beating Purdue last night. How can you not pull for VCU when their band dresses like this? Butler is also in the Sweet 16 after its bizarre win against Pitt on Saturday. If you missed the celebration by Bulldogs coach Brad Stevens and his squad, you must check it out. Two other highlights from the weekend: CBS studio host Greg Gumbelforgot which network was airing the tournament, and sideline reporterJaime Maggio.
Suns guard Aaron Brooks lost his cool and threw the ball at a ref Friday night. ... Celtics broadcaster Tommy Heinsohn REALLY likes onion rings. ... This Kings fan shows real class by giving Ducks coach Randy Carlyle the finger WHILE HOLDING HIS LITTLE KID.
In an unusual twist on one of his monster dunks, Blake Griffinactually got called for an offensive foul -- his sixth of the game -- while throwing down a slam against the Suns yesterday.

I did enjoy. Very well done, and great use of the double rainbow sensation plus Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
