After getting destroyed by analysts everywhere for their inclusion in the NCAA tournament, fans of 11th-seeded VCU are thumping their chests (and rightfully) so after advancing to the Final Four yesterday. The hot item on campus is this $2,000 banner that takes direct aim at Dick Vitale. Meanwhile, the Rams faithful was still going strong at 1:30 a.m. at their pep rally where coach Shaka Smarthad some words for VCU's critics (at the 5:34 mark). And to see exactly how the Rams fans celebrated, which led to some folks getting sprayed with tear gas and fire extinguishers, this page has you covered. (Thanks to Jovan for all the links.)

Bill from Charleston, S.C., automatically becomes a Hall of Fame member of Hot Clicks Nation because he did all the dirty work to come up with the remaining scenarios in our pool. Here is the scoop from Bill: "Hi, Jimmy. I downloaded a spreadsheet to see how I'm doing. I have UConn and Kentucky playing, but that's it. I can't win as I'm currently tied for 112th. I did a little analysis on the standings. Based on my review, there are 37 people who still have a team in the dance: 18 of them have Kentucky winning it all, 18 have UConn, and one person has Butler. Surprisingly, no one picked VCU to win ... go figure. If Butler wins, your winner will be Shawn Goldsmith, who deserves our admiration for picking Butler. If UConn wins, you'll have a tie between MacKenzie Ludgate and James Coffman, with MacKenzie having 135 for the tiebreaker, and James having 156. If Kentucky wins, your winner will be Todd Goren. However, if VCU wins it all, it'll depend on who the team beats. If the Rams win over UConn, it's back to Ludgate and Coffman and the tiebreaker. If they win over Kentucky, it's Goren."
