SI's Richard Deitsch is live at Conseco Fieldhouse for the NCAA women's championship between No. 2 seeds Notre Dame and Texas A&M. You can also follow the scoreboard here.

11 p.m. | How bout them Aggies! They are celebrating in College Station tonight as the school wins its first women's basketball title. Adams and White were terrific, a pair of frontcourt scorers who really played big for Texas A&M. For Blair, one of the great coaches who has starred away from the spotlight of the Geno-Pat duo, it's a sweet night in Indianapolis. He celebrated winning against Stanford by taking a posse out to Steak 'n Shake for orange freezes and steak burgers. I can only imagine what the party will be like tonight.

FINAL: Texas A&M 76, Notre Dame 70

10:55 p.m. | Man, Tyra White (18 points, 7-of-9 shooting) has been awesome. She steals the ball from Diggins and hits a pair of clutch free throws on the other end.

Texas A&M leads 75-70, 0:12 left

10:53 p.m. | Here we go: Notre Dame is down three and has a chance for the tie after Diggins pressured Colson into an over-and-back call at midcourt. Look for either Diggins or Novosel to take a 3-pointer here if it's free. The Irish are 2 of 8 from three-point range tonight.

Texas A&M leads 73-70, 0:29 left

10:51 p.m. | Sydney Carter fouls out with 40.7 left. Big moments here for A&M without its best defender and the best perimeter defender in the country.

Texas A&M leads 73-70, 0:38 left

10:48 p.m. | Tyra White just hit a ridiculously huge three-pointer on a feed from Colson. That is a big-time shot, and it might be the one that gives Texas A&M its first title.

Texas A&M leads 73-68, 0:51 left

10:46 p.m. | This game has been a great showcase for the sport. The ratings won't be great but the action has been terrific. It's been a great Final Four in terms of competitive action.

Texas A&M leads 70-68, 1:08 left

10:45 p.m. | Danielle Adams (29 points, 13-of-22 shooting) is one of the more remarkable players you'll ever see. She has quick feet for her size and feathery touch. Her coach Gary Blair all year has called her the "female Charles Barkley." She's playing like it tonight. She has 29.

Texas A&M leads 70-68, 1:35 left

10:37 p.m. | With under four minutes left, it's a tie game in Indianapolis. Diggins hit a sweet jumper in the lane to tie the game at 66-66 with 3:56 left. During the year Notre Dame had trouble finishing games, but they've been great closers in the tournament. But the Aggies won't stop playing until the final buzzer. The comeback against Stanford proved that. This looks like a buzzer-beater finish.

Tied 66-66, 3:56 left

10:33 p.m. | The teams are really stepping up their play. Fans are going nuts. Both teams getting what they want offensively at the moment.

Texas A&M leads 64-61, 4:52 left

10:26 p.m. | Skylar Diggins (14 points, but 0-for-3 from three) is starting to have an impact in this game. She followed up a miss with a soft jumper in the lane and hit another jumper. She has 14, but A&M keeps coming inside. The Aggies have done a great job this half playing in foul trouble.

Texas A&M leads 60-57, 7:50 left

10:23 p.m. | Notre Dame coach Muffet McGraw prior to the game: "They're a great defensive team. Probably a little bit like West Virginia in the Big East and then some. They really get up and guard people. I thought their pressure is why they beat Stanford. They also can score. They have got great guard play. They've got great inside play."

Texas A&M leads 56-55, 9:00 left

10:21 p.m. | Crowd just booed ESPN for interviewing Gary Blair during the game. Tough crowd.

10:18 p.m. | Looking at the stats, a very even game. N.D. leads in rebounds 23-20. Turnovers are basically even. The Irish are shooting 48.6 percent from the field. Texas A&M is shooting 52.5. Points in the paint: Notre Dame 30, Texas A&M 28

Tied 52-52, 11:43 left

10:13 p.m. | Texas A&M coach Gary Blair on Notre Dame prior to the game: "They do it by old school ball. They know how to play. Their guards have always got their forearms out. Mallory and Novosel, is that how you say it, they're just smart. Now Skylar is similar to Colson. They're out there, they're flying around, and they're very similar to what they like to do. But the post players, I think sizewise we match up a little bit better than what we did against Stanford with the size. God, Stanford was just so huge."

Tied 50-50, 13:00 left

10:08 p.m. | Looks like Texas A&M coach Gary Blair has decided to feed Adams as much as possible. Notre Dame does not have an answer for her in the paint. She now has 15 points, and she's the reason we're now tied. Texas A&M is on a 7-0 run in the last 2:23.

Tied 48-48, 13:43 left

10:07 p.m. | Notre Dame switched to zone but Tyra White blew by her defender on the baseline for a three-point play. It's now a two-point game.

Notre Dame leads 48-46, 14:20 left

10:01 p.m. | Both teams are shooting the lights out tonight. Notre Dame is 16 of 28 from the field (57.1 percent). Texas A&M is 18 of 37 (48.6 percent). We're a long way from Butler-UConn.

10:00 p.m. | Texas A&M is in serious foul trouble. Colson has three, Adams has three and Adaora Elonu has three. Peters is having her way down low at the moment.

Notre Dame leads 48-43, 15:30 left

9:54 p.m. | Notre Dame coming out strong. Four quick points off free throws caused by nice entry passes into the post. Peters is really active in the paint. She's out-quicking Aggie defenders on the offensive boards.

Notre Dame leads 39-33, 18:45 left

9:52 p.m. | The first five minutes in this half will be big. How will Texas A&M respond?

9:50 p.m. | Both teams are back on the floor. Aggie fans behind me looking concerned.

9:42 p.m. | It's halftime here in Indianapolis. Notre Dame went on a furious run in the last eight minutes of the half to take a 35-33 lead at halftime. The Irish went on an 8-0 run in the last 5:52, including six points from Skylar Diggins. Sydney Colson picked up her third foul with 4:55 left, a huge moment in this game. Devereaux Peters leads Notre Dame with 10 points. Diggins has 8. Tyra White and Danielle Adams each of eight for Texas A&M. Stay here for more updates. Apologies of the blog issues in the first half. We had some tech issues, and we'll now be here.

9:34 p.m. | We've been having some serious technical issues in Indy. Apologies.

9:06 p.m. | Tyra White is a player. Had only seen her once in person prior to tonight. That girl can sky.

9:05 p.m. | Texas A&M now has more points than either UConn or Butler did at halftime last night.

9:03 p.m. | Sydney Colson just committed her second foul of the game. That's a big deal. Watch to see Notre Dame attack from the perimeter.

9:00 p.m. | Here's my seat at the game. Beyond cool:

8:59 p.m. | Danielle Adams leads A&M with six points. Notre Dame has seven turnovers and A&M has eight points off those turnovers.

8:56 p.m. | As my seatmate Ann Killion just wisely noted: "A&M contests everything."

8:53 p.m. | Texas A&M is off to a terrific start. They are quicker to the ball and ND is having major problems guarding inside the post. The Aggies have scored 8 of 12 points in the paint. SCORE: Texas A&M 12, Notre Dame 4. 15:31 left.

8:51 p.m. | Right now, A&M is having its way with Notre Dame in the post. The Aggies are 5 of 8 from the field and on a 6-0 run in the last 1:46.

8:49 p.m. | Texas A&M leads 6-4 after first two minutes. A&M pressure bothering ND a bit.

8:44 p.m. | Pregame: Starting lineups just announced. Diggins got the biggest roar by far. It's bascially a sellout here. Some empty seats in the highest rows. I'd say 70-30 Notre Dame in terms of fans.
