There is some speculation that Chris Bosh could be one-and-done in Miami. Rumours persist the Heat are looking to trade Bosh for a point guard eventually. But after a slow start, he has averaged 18.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 36.3 minutes per game. Those numbers are just slightly off his career numbers but both he and the club are starting to look more like juggernaut than flubbernaught. Perhaps more than LeBron James or Dwayne Wade, it is Bosh who has had to change his game. "They still handle the ball, they still make decisions, make plays. It was kind of different for me because I (played) in the post more. Now I set more screens, I'm rolling to the basket more; I get the ball but it's in different positions." (Toronto Sun)Comment
Chapman suddenly (alarmingly?) topping out at 91
Where did Aroldis Chapman heater go? It was Ramon Hernandez who called the trainer and pitching coach out to check on [Chapman]. "Yesterday, he threw what 93, 94," Hernandez said. "Then today, he's throwing 91. He's throws almost 100 over every pitch. Now, he can't get up to 93. There's got to be something. You can't lose it in one day." Bryan Price and Paul Lessard came out after Chapman walked Jason Bartlett in the eighth. He said he was OK and stayed in the game. "He's young kid," Hernandez said. "My guess is he wants to battle through it. Like anybody who's a player will do. You got some pain you won't say nothing. You're trying to tough it out." Two teams on Ingram's knee: 'Very bad'
After undergoing knee surgery last summer, Mark Ingram still went on to average more than 5.5 yards per carry. But there have been rumors that the long-term stability of Ingram's knee is tenuous. And NFL Network???s Mike Lombardi reported something that may substantiate that speculation on Wednesday evening's Path to the Draft. "I've had two teams tell me the knee is very bad," said Lombardi. "He won't be on their boards. These are teams that need running backs." NFL Network's Mike Mayock didn't go as far as Lombardi, but did acknowledge Ingram is in danger of falling out of round one, where he's so often projected. "Even fully healthy, I have concerns about whether he's a first-round pick," said Mayock of Ingram. (Pro Football Talk)Comment
