Hornets guard Chris Paul came through with another sensational effort last night in leading his team to a 93-88 win over the Lakers. CP3 put up a triple-double (27 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds) and then told TNT's Cheryl Millerhe'd even hit his mom if she was going against him on the court.

This overexuberant Brewers fan showed up to Friday night's game with a marriage proposal for slugger Ryan Braun. The woman meant business because she put her phone number on the sign, which was shown on television. Naturally, the woman was bombarded with calls, her voicemail got full, and she ended up shutting off her phone ... thus missing Braun's call.

News Report Of The Day
The Canucks jumped out to a 3-0 series lead against the Blackhawks, but that was erased last night when Chicago's Ben Smith scored the goal below in overtime to even the matchup.
