As you know, I'm a diehard Yankees fan. But I do my best to be fair, and I have no choice but to give it up to Red Sox Nation today. The fans who sat through a 2-hour, 35-minute rain delay to watch Boston eventually lose to the Angels last night, came through with one of the coolest things you'll ever see at the ballpark: They serenaded third baseman Kevin Youkilis with Biz Markie's Just a Friend. Watch it here before MLB's out-of-touch media thugs take down the video. Also, props to the Angeles broadcast team, who donned wrestling masks late in the game in hopes of rallying Anaheim.

Ted, of Rochester, N.Y., says, "Did I miss it on one of the Hot Clicks or are you just not going to mention the pro-Bin Laden, pro-9/11 conspiracy theorist comments from Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall? Dude should not only be kicked off the team, but should be kicked out of league. If it were up to me, he would be deported for such ignorant, absent minded ramblings." First, I'm not exactly sure where you'd want Mendenhall deported to since he's from Illinois. Second, you did not miss any mention of Mendenhall in Hot Clicks. (I did send out a couple of Tweets about the story.) Nothing good can come of me commenting on the matter. No matter what I say, someone out there will argue the other side, and this really isn't the place for a discussion like that. I came close yesterday to writing that I thought it was interesting that Mendenhall addressed his Tweets about celebrating Bin Laden's death, but did not address his thought that planes did not bring down the Twin Towers. But I decided I'd be better off sticking to the usual nonsense that is Hot Clicks.
