Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhalllost his endorsement deal with Champion yesterday thanks to his series of Tweets regarding Osama Bin Laden. Royals blogger Lee Judge opined during a recent game that infielder Wilson Betemit should have intentionally gotten hit by a pitch. After members of the Royals heard this, they invited Judge to get hit by an 81-mile per hour pitch. To Judge's credit, he took them up on the offer. (Thanks to Caleb Regan, for the link.)

Redskins tight end Chris Cooley joined me this week for an extremely fun chat. We talked about his choice to win American Idol, his love of pottery, the NFL lockout and his frustration with not having high-speed Internet. Cooley also broke down Maxim's Hot 100 list and revealed that he hadn't heard about the Rashard Mendenhall controversy until I brought it up. Trust me, you'll want to listen to this show, which you can do below or download it on iTunes. (Warning: The podcast contains strong language.)
