Why does Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb look so upset about dropping a pass in the picture above? Because it cost him $400. If a Green Bay wideout drops a pass, he must give the other four wide receivers on the team a $100 Best Buy gift card. This really sets up a nice win-win for these players. If your teammate makes the catch, you're happy because it leads to success on the field, and if he drops it, it's an electronics bonanza for yourself.

I know there's not a ton of love out there for Fox play-by-play man Joe Buck, but you have to give him credit for this: He actually apologized for being the voice of the World Series for the past 14 years at the start of last night's telecast. As for Buck's partner, Tim McCarver, he had this faux pas during the game.

In The Booth

As usual, Jets coach Rex Ryan was running his mouth yesterday, but this time, somebody shot back. Ryan told reporters that if he had coached the Chargers the last few years, San Diego would have a couple of rings. Since this is clearly a shot at Chargers coach Norv Turner, and an indirect shot at his own players, Ryan tried to spin out of it. But Turner was having none of it, saying, "I didn't have a chance to ask him this, but I was wondering if he had those rings with the ones he's guaranteed the last couple of years." Burn!

We covered the cheap shot of the weekend in Monday's Hot Clicks, but this late entry takes the cake. Check out Miami defensive tackle Micanor Regis unleashing a vicious low blow on North Carolina receiver Dwight Jones.

After yesterday's controversy, Major League Baseball has announced that Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki WILL throw out the first pitch in Texas before Game 3 of the World Series.

Another Win For Nowitzki

I'm not much of a skateboarding expert, but this looks impressive.
