Rolle guarantees playoff for Giants

Prior to a showdown with the Cowboys, Antrel Rolle is at it again. [Rolle] was so fired up about the Giants' performance on Sunday, that right after the game he promised that "once we get into the playoffs there's not going to be anything that can stop us." And the Giants will get into the playoffs. That, he said, is guaranteed. "You ask will we make the playoffs? Without a doubt," Rolle said on Tuesday during his weekly, paid spot on WFAN. "Without a doubt. We will be in that postseason." The guarantee wasn't anything new for the always talkative Rolle, who had said before that the Giants "will" be a playoff team. Of course, this time they're riding a four-game losing streak and sitting on a 6-6 record after a 6-2 start. (New York Daily News)Comment

Instead of appearing in his 26th game, Seguin watched last night's 2-1 loss from the MTS Centre press box, the consequence for his actions. "Just one of those things you've got to do once in a while as a coach," said coach Claude Julien. "He's missed some meetings. Obviously it's not the first time. When it's the first time, you give guys a break. But it's happened more than a few times. At one point, he's got to hold himself responsible." ...
