Thick fog forced organizers to cancel a men's super-G World Cup race on Sunday.

The top part of the Kandahar course was shrouded in fog that did not move, and organizers had delayed the start three times before the cancellation.

On Saturday, the downhill race won by Didier Cuche of Switzerland had to be significantly shortened because of fog.

It was the second straight super-G to be canceled. The race in Kitzbuehel, Austria, was called off last week because of rain and snow.

There was no immediate decision on rescheduling.
