Without link submissions from members of Hot Clicks Nation, this column would not exist. Each day, I get bombarded with a steady stream of e-mails that I sift through to find the items I think you'll be interested in the most. Every now and again, when things are either really busy in the sports world or if I'm away from e-mail for a few hours, I lose control of my inbox. This week, I lost complete control of my inbox because of two people: Kate Upton and, believe it or not, to a much bigger extent, Jeremy Lin. In the case of Upton, many of you just keep submitting over and over. As for Lin, well, Tebowmania has NOTHING on Linsanity. Here is a sampling -- just a sampling -- of what's come into my inbox in the past 24 hours.

1. Dr. Ruthtweets (graphically) about Jeremy Lin.

2. The 25 best Jeremy Lin signs.

3. An infographic detailing all sorts of numbers associated with Linsanity.

4. Another Lin infographic.

5. The Jeremy Lin Drinking Game.

6. The effect Linsanity has had on Jeremy Lin trading cards.

7. Jeremy Lin loves Christian Rock.

8. Jessie Eisenberg, who played Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, wrote this piece titled "Jeremy Lin has helped me through some pretty tough times."

9. Ten GIFs of Jeremy Lin.

10. Tale of the Tape: Linsanity vs. Lindsanity (Lohan).

11. Jeremy Lin Nickname Bracket.

Out Of Control

You guys know that I'm not a big fan of dunks unless it's something crazy, so I wouldn't watch the NBA dunk contest no matter who was in it. However, after seeing this year's participants, I'd like to publicly offer my sympathies to anyone who thought they were going to get LeBron James or Blake Griffin. Instead you have Chase Budinger, Paul George, Iman Shumpert and Derrick Williams. However, the NBA ... wait for it ... wait for it ... wait for it ... is bringing in Jeremy Lin to save the day.

And it wasn't pretty.

Shaquille O'Neal Tried To Dunk Off A Trampoline

Model Melanie Iglesias, whom Hot Clicks Nation knows well, suggested on Twitter earlier today that I make her friend and fellow model, Lisa Ramos the LLOD. After doing some research, it was evident Lisa was more than deserving, so she gets today's LLOD honors.

Lovely Lady Of The Day

After the Super Bowl, we learned that you don't mess with Tom Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen. That goes for real life and commercials, as proved in this new spot in which she plays Marie Antoinette.

This Seems Fitting

New Angels pitcher and Hot Clicks staple C.J. Wilson stopped by the office yesterday to tape this week's podcast. To be honest, this was more of a conversation than an interview. We touched on a slew of topics, including Wilson's big purchase after landing a $77.5 million contract; what he did while not watching one second of the Super Bowl; Kate Upton, Josh Hamilton, Mariano Rivera and Rob Gronkowski; and the ups and downs of Twitter. You can listen to it below or download it here or here if you have an MP3 player.

Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara was injured after getting hit in the face with a puck last night. Canadiens fans cheered enthusiastically, causing Boston's radio announcers to scold Montreal fans. (Thanks to Brian Kullman, of West Chester, Pa., for the video.)

Sports Video Of The Day

Last week, Hot Clicks posted a video that showed what the bar scene would be like if men acted like women and women acted like men. The video below is a sequel. (Thanks to Bobby, of Petaluma, Calif., for the link.)

Role Reversal Video Of The Day

Matthew, of St. Albert, Alberta, says, "Hey, Jimmy, I know Valentine's Day is over, but my awesomely dorky brother just released his video for the day. He decided to go all in for the occasion by channeling his inner Rick Moranis. If any of your readers are Poindexters married to teachers, this might be of some use to them."
