On Sunday the Orioles and Red Sox played one of the wildest regular season games you'll ever see. Baltimore designated hitter Chris Davis went 0-for-8 with five strikeouts, but he was also the winning pitcher in the O's 9-6 17-inning victory. Davis struck out Red Sox first basemanAdrian Gonzalez, who finished 0-for-8, in the bottom of the 17th inning with two on and none out. After the game, Davis said at one point he "kinda blacked out" on the mound. You can read about many other nuggets from the game, which left the Orioles -- yes, the Orioles -- with the best record in baseball, here. There were other notable incidents from the Orioles sweep in Fenway: On Saturday, Red Sox pitcher Aaron Cook got spiked on his leg on a play at the plate. The resulting gash was nasty. On Friday night, Baltimore's Mark Reynolds hit a homer, and then left his manager, Buck Showalter, hanging in an epic missed high five.

Solid Prank

Mets utility man Justin Turneris now usingCall Me Maybe as his at-bat music. If you're not familiar with the catchy tune, well, let's just say it doesn't exactly seem like a traditional at-bat song.
