Jimmy needed the day off to recover from Maria Menounos' Dancing With The Stars elimination and will return tomorrow. Though Menounos and Traina are bummed about last night's results, at least they aren't Stephen Strasburg. The Nats ace had his first poor outing of the season yesterday afternoon, giving up four runs in four innings after "some Hot Stuff got misplaced," according to manager Davey Johnson. It could've been worse - at least he didn't pull a Mark DeRosa and strain an oblique giving a teammate a high five.

Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkleyheld a "shirt-off" competition last night during TNT's Inside the NBA. Despite his painted on six-pack abs, O'Neal was the clear winner. Barkley didn't appear in bad shape, thanks to his Weight Watchers diet, but he has a long way to go to match his shirtless look from this 1986 SI photo shoot.
Battle of the Bods
Australian shooter Russell Mark, 48, will compete in his sixth Olympic Games in London, but he will not do so in style. Mark pledged to wear a Borat-style bikini to the Opening Ceremonies if his favorite Australian Rules Football Team, Carlton, lost to St. Kilda. Carlton was defeated by four goals and Mark, who is a potential flag bearer for Australia, must now wear the ridiculous outfit.

Mets 3B David Wright and manager Terry Collins got into s shouting match yesterday when Collins pulled him for a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. The Mets were down 7-0 when Brewers 2B Rickie Weeks hit a deep home run off D.J. Carrasco and then admired it before running to first. Carrasco exacted revenge on the next batter, Ryan Braun, by plunking him in the shoulder. Wright knew he'd get hit by a pitch when he led off the bottom of the inning and so did Collins, who pulled him to shield his star from a potential injury. Wright was not pleased with this move.

Curt Schilling's gaming company 38 Studios isn't doing very well and could cost Rhode Island taxpayers $112.6 million if the company can't pay back bonds it borrowed from the state ...
