Hyman runs 9.95 to win Madrid Meet 100

Kemar Hyman of the Cayman Islands ran a personal-best 9.95 seconds to win the 100 meters in the Madrid Meet on Saturday.

Hyman, aided by a strong but legal tailwind, broke the record for the Spanish capital meet after smashing his personal best of 10.27 seconds set last year.

Kemar Bailey-Cole of Jamaica was second in 10.07, with Adams Antoine of St. Kitts and Nevis third in 10.15.

World champion Yohan Blake's 9.75 is the season's best going into the London Olympics.
