[Scott] has a message for Jets fans who mercilessly heckled the team as it walked to the locker room at halftime following the 52 Seconds From Hell against the Patriots: He doesn't care what you say or think. "At the end of the day, if you made it to be able to put an NFL uniform on, then you are one of the best athletes in the world," Scott told the Daily News. "The person yelling at you probably was picked last in dodgeball all through high school. So do you care about the opinion of them? No." ... Luther Campbell tweet: 'Golden to UT'

Jon Gruden broke his silence Wednesday, but true clarity on his interest in coaching at Tennesee remains a question. Most national observers believe Gruden will end up in the NFL, which is raising concerns about his role as an impartial media member for the remainder of this season. ... LSU head coach Les Miles said his defensive coordinator John Chavis would be a "very good head coach" and that Tennessee should pursue him. ... Sources: Stoudemire's OK with bench role

Credit Amar'e Stoudemire for willing to be a team player. [Stoudemire] would accept a role as the New York Knicks' sixth man if asked, two sources with knowledge of Stoudemire's thinking told ESPNNewYork.com. "All he cares about right now is helping the team and winning," said one source, who has been around Stoudemire regularly in recent weeks. "He'd be fine with coming off the bench if that's what they want." Stoudemire hasn't spoken with reporters since suffering a left knee injury in the preseason. He's been rehabilitating his knee following arthroscopic surgery for the past four weeks and is expected to miss at least another two weeks.
