Jeter, Minka aren't engaged
Relax ladies, Derek Jeter isn't engaged. Contrary to Thursday's New York Post report, the Yankees shortstop is not headed down the aisle with "Friday Night Lights" star Minka Kelly. "The Post story is not true," the actress' rep confirmed to the Daily News.

McNabb at odds with Vick's Wildcat?
Is Donovan McNabb already at odds with the Wildcat and Michael Vick's role on the team? Take this response from the Eagles quarterback when he was asked if he thought the WildVick disrupted the rhythm and whether the offense needed to get back to basics during the first half of tonight's game with the Jaguars: "Absolutely, Absolutely," McNabb said. "I did. In that situation, it's needed."

Hollywood police not amused by Shaq
NBA star Shaquille O'Neal created quite a stir in Hollywood early Thursday morning when he parked his Ford F-350 pickup truck on a busy street right in front of a crowded nightclub. Police were not amused. O'Neal was cited for impeding the reasonable movement of traffic and allowed to drive off.
