What Happened to Kentucky Hoops?

Things aren't good in Lexington this year. :: John Sommers II/Icon SMI, AP
We knew Kentucky basketball was in for a rough year after its early season loss to Gardner-Webb, but the Wildcats reached a new low after last night's 41-point loss to Vanderbilt. Even the biggest UK supporter -- Ashley Judd -- looked like someone shot her dog. At least Billy Gillispie's old team, Texas A&M, is having a strong year.
Trouble in Bloomington
Kelvin Sampson's rocky tenure at Indiana just got a lot rockier after an NCAA report revealed multiple violations by the Hoosiers coach. This shouldn't come as a huge suprise to IU fans -- Sampson racked up multiple violations at Oklahoma before bolting for Bloomington and the recruitment of Eric Gordon was shady, at best. We have a feeling Sampson may be moving up in the rankings of the nation's sweatiest coaches.

Ball State School Shooting? Not Quite
Two Ball State theater students were arrested yesterday for pulling out a gun in the school library. The only problem was that the gun was a toy and the two students were rehearsing a scene from an upcoming play.
