Jimmy took today and Tuesday off to do his Christmas shopping and asked me to fill in. Luckily, he's not a Bears fan because they got destroyed at home yesterday by the Patriots. But Chicago football fans still have the Bliss - the Windy City's lingerie football franchise - who on Saturday helped launch a new campaign for PETA. Even the ironically-named Heather Furr got in on the action as members of the team posed for a series of photos to help promote PETA's new "Bench Fur" campaign. Here is a video of the photo shoot.
NFL Notes
Cowboys running back Tashard Choice did not choose a good time to ask Michael Vick for an autograph ... By now, you've heard about Jets' strength and conditioning coach assisting on a play. The reaction in the Dolphins locker room was pretty funny ... Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson continues to be one of the most entertaining players in the league.
Did You Hear About the Metrodome?
If you're one of the 11 people who hasn't seen the Metrodome roof collapse, here's the video.
Wardrobe Wonders
Guyism has put together its ranking of hottest female sports uniforms and beach volleyball was the big winner. I hate to state the obvious, but shouldn't lingerie football have a spot on the rankings? PETA spokeswoman Heather Furr would not be happy about this.
The Big Chill
Michigan Stadium :: AP
A record crowd of 113,411 poured into Michigan Stadium on Saturday to watch Michigan crush rival Michigan State, 5-0, in men's hockey. In honor of the game, here's a gallery of sports being played in unusual venues.
Syracuse Slaughter
The Colgate men's basketball program hasn't experienced many highs since Adonal Foyle took his boxtop haircut to the NBA, but you have to feel bad for the Raiders after Saturday's game against Syracuse. Not only did they lose by 57 points, they managed a mere eight (that's right, EIGHT) points in the first half.
Bad Moments in Hockey Jerseys
Is this the worst jersey of 2010? I have to agree with Yahoo! Sports' Puck Daddy and say yes.
Missed Extra Point Video Of The Day
Sorry to torture Redskins fans, but here's kicker Graham Gano's missed extra point that cost Washington a potential victory.

Dunk Of The Day
Thunder forward James Harden (and his beard) destroy Cavs forward J.J. Hickson during Sunday's Oklahoma City-Cleveland game.

Penalty Shot Of The Day
In his first NHL hockey game, Oilers left wing Linus Omark does a 360, then scores a shooout goal.
