Louisville upset West Virigina on Saturday, which led to Cardinals coach Charlie Strong celebrating in grand style -- he crowd surfed in the locker room. The New York Giants didn't crowd surf, but their celebration after beating New England yesterday was pretty solid, too.
From The Frathouse To The FieldTennessee needed a kicker for its game this past Saturday against Middle Tennessee State. So head coach Derek Dooley called one of school's frathouses an hour before kickoff to get one, and he did. (Thanks to Jared Jonas, of Knoxville, Tenn., for the link.)
Failed Fist BumpsThe best pregame show in any sport on television is ESPN's College GameDay. This one-minute clip of Lee Corso working the Alabama crowd is just one example of what makes the show so great. And, as Jonathan, of Barcelona, Spain, points out, the show ended this week with a classic missed fist bump. There was also a solid missed fist bump between Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and head coach Rex Ryan. (Thanks to Derek, of Eastport, N.Y., for the video.)
Sports Video Of The DayWhile being interviewed from the Kansas State-Oklahoma game Saturday night, Kirk Herbstreit felt the effects of an earthquake. The video is below and a priceless screengrab is here. (Thanks to Jason, of Edmond, Okla., for the video.)
Saturday Night Live Video Of The DayThe show took on the Kim Kardashian-Kris Humphries divorce this week, and the result was pretty damn funny. (Thanks to Kosta, of Astoria N.Y., for the tip.)
Doing Chores Video Of The DayThis kid knows how to spice up the boring task of doing the dishes. (Thanks to Alti Iftikhar, of Chicago, for the video.)
