With Jets coach Rex Ryan and cornerback Antonio Cromartie trash-talking and saying a bunch of dumb things about Patriots quarterbackTom Brady and coach Bill Belichick this week, Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker decided to retaliate yesterday by making a foot reference in each of his answers during a press conference. Meanwhile, the New York and Boston papers are having a field day with all this nonsense. Oh, and the reason for the Maria Menounos above is because she's a huge Patriots fan and it makes more sense to feature a picture of her than Welker.
LaughfestJoe Theismann called Patriots running back Danny Woodhead "Danny Woodcock" on some NFL Network show last night, and fellow analyst Deion Sanders, Mike Mayock and Steve Mariucci acted like they were watching Eddie Murphy's Delirious for the first time and laughed hysterically for minutes.
