The best thing in hockey, minus anything that happens on the ice, are the press conferences given by Rangers coach John Tortorella. Normally, Tortorella is ripping a reporter, or arguing with a reporter, or telling a reporter not to coach, or calling a reporter a smart ass. Last night, after the Rangers beat the Devils, Tortorella took issue with a reporter's cell phone going off.
Rough Night For The Graphics Department
The NBC affiliate in Los Angeles thinks the Sacramento Kings are the Los Angeles Kings, while the NHL Network filled us in on the bowel moments of Rangers forward Brad Richards.
A True Sign Of Confidence
Thunder guard Russell Westbrook had 27 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in his team's blowout win against the Lakers last night. Clearly, he was feeling on the top of the world because he showed up to the postgame press conference like this.
