The parents of the little kid brought to tears by not getting a ball thrown into the stands at the Rangers game on Wednesday were on NBC's Today show this morning and cleared up a few things: They were not upset that their son didn't get the ball, and thought the incident was a good way of showing him that you can't always get what you want. Also, the couple next to them did offer the boy the ball after they saw how upset he was. The couple who grabbed the ball are claiming they didn't know the kid was crying, which I don't buy for a second. And I still think the second the guy picked up the ball, he should've handed it to the kid. But that's just my opinion, and also the answer given by this very informative chart. I know many of you disagree -- and that's cool. In any event, the couple seems like fine human beings, who just get way too excited by having a baseball tossed to them.
Major WAG Alert!A little sampling of what my inbox looked like this morning: Chris, of Minneapolis, said, "Jimmy, in honor of NFL Draft Day, how about you put new Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill's wife as todays LLOD? "Rhens, of Auburn, said, "Put Ryan T.'s wife on the LLOD. She was clearly on target last night at the NFL Draft. All I can say is WOW!" Ben, of San Francisco, said, "Who was the hot blond sitting next to Ryan Tannehill at the Draft?" Last, but not least, Pete, of Indianapolis, said, "Jimmy, I've been reading Hot Clicks for all five years. I KNOW you will post something about the woman with Ryan Tannehill at the Draft. If not, I will be very disappointed." So, I guess you want to know about the woman with Ryan Tannehill at the Draft last night? Her name is Lauren Ufer and they got married in January. And, yes, she is a model.
