Jimmy needed the day off to celebrate Derek Jeter's first good game of the season. As Mr. Minka Kelly was leading the Yankees to victory, the Lakers were ending their season in ugly fashion. With the Mavs holding a comfortable fourth quarter lead, Lakers forward Lamar Odom delivered a cheap shot to Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki, which was topped seconds later by Lakers center Andrew Bynum's cheaper shot on Mavericks point guard J.J. Barea. It was not a great way for Lakers coach Phil Jackson to end his Hall of Fame coaching career (at least he'll have time to work on his sit-ups). The story of the NBA weekend, however, was Rajon Rondo's triumphant return to the Celtics lineup after dislocating his left elbow during the third quarter of Boston's Game 3 win over Miami on Saturday. This image says it all.
