Woods, Lima have memorable weeks: Pop Culture Hot List

Tiger Woods Rarely does a golf tournament distract the attention of fans paying thousands of dollars to watch an NBA Finals game, but that's what happened before Game 5 as folks gathered around the TVs lined around the Staples Center to watch Woods force a playoff before finally beatingRocco Mediate in sudden death on Monday. It was worth it as the finale was better than anything we've seen during the Finals so far.
Adriana Lima While many were dumbfounded that Timberwolves guard Marko Jaric was somehow able to convince Lima to marry him we're just happy we have a reason to link to the Victoria's Secret model from now on.
Ronny Turiaf Our favorite Laker called us out in front of the media at the NBA Finals and said that he was mad at us after we mentioned that he got turned down at some Hollywood club again. Well, we made amends and Turiaf actually laughed about the incident as he did with the paparazzi this week.
Jessica Simpson So we were kind of hoping that Tony Romo would have moved on by Simpson by now, giving him enough time before training camp to hook up with a few more celebutards for the sake of the PCHL (you know, because it's all about us) but "Yoko Romo" is finally beginning to grow on us. Now if we can just do something about their cheesy T-Shirts.
Chad Johnson The only thing more awkward than watching "Ocho Cinco" play difficult with a reporter for no apparent reason is watching him race a horse in a orange and black striped jockey outfit. He looked equally ridiculous on both occasions.
Alex Curran The leader of the English national team's WAGs has some extra time on her hands this summer as England failed qualify for this year's Euro tournament. That's good news for us and her husband, Steven Gerrard.
Vince McMahon We chatted with Mr. McMahon before he decided to give away a $1 million on television every Monday night. He said he hoped the gimmick would bring in new and old viewers. Well, it hasn't (so far) as ratings are still down, but hey, it's not all bad, at least he can say he got Rick Roll'd for $200,000.
Sara Evans We haven't heard from Jay Barker since he quarterbacked Alabama to a national championship in 1993, but 15 years later he's still living the dream, marrying country music singer Sara Evans over the weekend in Nashville. Too bad, he can't rub some of his good luck off on the Crimson Tide.
Cristiano Ronaldo The biggest heartthrob since Beckham and the best footballer since that other Ronaldo, Christiano is the hottest athlete on the planet right now. He lead Man U to the Champions League title, has Portugal in the running for the Euro crown and could be in line for a record transfer to Real Madrid this summer. After all, you can only take off your shirt so often in England.
Mike Myers At the premiere of his new film, The Love Guru, Myers told us he hadn't watched much of the Stanley Cup playoffs this year as his Leafs failed to make the postseason again. In fact, he couldn't even look at the Cup as he was carried down on the red carpet. "I won't touch the Stanley Cup until [the Leafs] win and I can drink from the cup," he said. "I've had opportunities to touch it and I will not. I barely look at it. It's not time yet. I'm going to wait. I'm going to wait my turn."
