One Way to Choose the Bubble Teams

These cheerleaders are reason enough to make the tourney. :: Peter Schlitt, Rob Holt/Icon SMI
Our friends at The World of Issac have figured out an interesting way to choose which bubble teams will make the tournament -- Cheerleader Hotness Factor. And since we know a thing or two about cheerleaders, our vote is for Oregon and Arizona State. One team not on the bubble in Portland State, but judging by their cheer squad, they'd be a shoe-in.
Redemption in Fort Collins
We're loving what's going on at Colorado State. On Wednesday, the women's hoops team -- which was 3-27 and winless in conference play (0-16) -- defeated No. 12 Utah, 60-52, in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference tournament. The Utes were 27-3 and a perfect 16-0 in conference play. Not to be outdone, the men's team snapped a school-record 17-game losing streak with a 68-63 victory over Wyoming on Thursday night

March Madness Maniacs

Not Loving the Worldwide Leader
UConn coach Gino Auriemma is angry with ESPN. And he's not the only one.
Pop Culture Nugget
Entertainment Weekly thinks Saturday Night Live is hot for being Americans "primary source of political and pop culture satire." We think a comedy show should be funny before it makes it to the cover of a magazine like EW. Even Mad TV is taking shots at SNL.

Odds and Ends
Forget basketball, March is all about Pong Madness ... Ann Arbor wants a trolley system ... Don't watch porn in class ... Nice to see Pat Tillman was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame ... Who knew being a Chik-fil-A mascot could be so dangerous ... Here's one thing to do with your old computer -- turn it into a toilet paper dispenser.
