Bold Moves

We're not gonna lie. As die-hard Yankees fans, the Clicks were tough for us to do today. We're down and we're depressed. But Rumors and Rants made us feel a little bit better by comparing Joe Torre's "ballsy" move of turning down the Yankees to other incidents -- such as Cash Warren cheating on Jessica Alba and Johnny Sack making a move against Tony Soprano -- that took just as much cojones, stones, etc., that Torre showed on Thursday. (Thanks to Ryan Phillips of Bloomington, Ind., for sending us the link.)
In Honor Of Manny Ramirez
We're not sure who to credit for sending us this link since it came from someone who signed their e-mail "Jon Bon Jovi," but we appreciate it nonetheless because it's solid -- The 35 Dumbest Sports Quotes Ever. And Jon, if that was actually you who sent it in, we'd love some free tickets to next week's show in Jersey.
When You Gotta Dance, You Gotta Dance
Sportswrap has great video of Baron Davis and a couple of other Warriors players dancing during a timeout of a recent preseason game. Davis is also mic'd throughout the video, so you can hear some interesting commentary.
But What If He Gets Traded?
Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson tells the DC Sports Bog that he plans to get his entire back tattooed as a jersey. Stevenson, as you can see in the link, is partially there. He already has his name across his back.
Sweatin' To SportsCenter

Deadspin reveals that the next celebrity to appear in those "This is SportsCenter" commercials will be ... wait for it ... wait for it ... wait for it ... Richard Simmons. Come on, you didn't think he was a huge sports fan? Bonus link: Classic Letterman bit with Simmons..
Natural Fits
Tiger Woods' new deal with Gatorade has inspired Maxim to come up with some other athlete/drink endorsements that should happen. (Thanks to Adam Bryant in Knoxville, Tenn., for sending us the link.)
Hittin' Him Where It Hurts
It turns out that Danielle Peck, who sang the national anthem before last night's Red Sox-Indians game, is Josh Beckett's ex. Was this a dirty ploy by Cleveland?
