[The Texans] hold the best card in the 2014 NFL Draft with the No. 1 overall pick, but according to NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt, the club just might want to play a different hand. As in, trading down with a team with a bad case of Jadeveon Clowney Fever. Brandt conducted a Q&A with fans on his Twitter feed Tuesday, and had this to say about the possibility: "Good chance #Texans move down. Trade similar to Giants-Chargers trade, preaarnged to take Clowney for some other team." ... Given Houston's need at the quarterback position, a trade down could give the club one of the draft's top quarterbacks later in the first round, plus additional picks to strengthen a roster that could also use help at the linebacker and right tackle positions. <span> <em>(<a href="http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000343007/article/brandt-texans-could-trade-no-1-overall-pick" target="_blank">NFL.com</a>)</em> <a href="http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/417230-texans-may-take-clowney-for-someone-else">Comment</a> </span> </p> </dd> </dl> <div class="cnnClear"></div> </div> <!-- end area --> <div class="cnnMorningJoltTR"> <dl> <dt> <img src="http://img.fannation.com/upload/truth_rumor/photo_upload/417/220/full/Matt_Harvey_getty_175342688.jpg" alt="Harvey set on returning this season" title="Harvey set on returning this season"/> </dt> <dd> <div> <a href="http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/417220-harvey-set-on-returning-this-season">Harvey set on returning this season</a> </div> <p> A Twitter dustup aside, Matt Harvey had a pretty good day. [Harvey's] rehabbing right elbow remains the primary concern for the Mets. And in that regard, the righthander reported Tuesday that his recovery from Tommy John surgery is going "really well." "My arm feels unbelievable," said Harvey, who is now playing catch at 90 feet. Harvey reaffirmed his desire to make his return before the end of the season, which would require him to be back before the typical one-year recovery following surgery. But he also acknowledged the recent rash of pitchers suffering second elbow-ligament injuries. "Obviously, the biggest thing is maybe not coming back this year and being healthy, but being healthy for the next couple of years," Harvey said. Tuesday marked the six-month anniversary of his elbow surgery. <span> <em>(<a href="http://www.newsday.com/sports/baseball/mets/matt-harvey-says-his-arm-feels-unbelievable-and-hopes-to-be-back-this-season-1.7796474" target="_blank">Newsday</a>)</em> <a href="http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/417220-harvey-set-on-returning-this-season">Comment</a> </span> </p> </dd> </dl> <div class="cnnClear"></div> </div> <!-- end area --> <div class="cnnMorningJoltTR"> <dl> <dt> <img src="http://img.fannation.com/upload/truth_rumor/photo_upload/417/216/full/Kevin_Love_icon_18746628.jpg" alt="Love's deal clouds T-Wolves' hiring" title="Love's deal clouds T-Wolves' hiring"/> </dt> <dd> <div> <a href="http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/417216-loves-deal-clouds-t-wolves-hiring">Love's deal clouds T-Wolves' hiring</a> </div> <p> Flip Saunders, a former coach himself, knows how coveted an NBA post can be, and he's now into the process of trying to fill the opening left by Rick Adelman's retirement. Hanging over the process is Kevin Love's uncertain future in Minnesota. Love can opt out of his contract after next season. The possibility of losing the face of the franchise, one of the best power forwards in the game and a relentless worker who has improved every summer could give some coaches pause when considering Minnesota. ... [Saunders] also coached in Detroit and Washington, and many believe he would like to return to the bench with the Wolves. "I'm not going to answer that," Saunders said when asked if he could do both jobs. "You never know." <span> <em>(<a href="http://www.startribune.com/sports/wolves/256247471.html" target="_blank">Star Tribune</a>)</em> <a href="http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/417216-loves-deal-clouds-t-wolves-hiring">Comment</a> </span> </p> </dd> </dl> <div class="cnnClear"></div> </div> <!-- end area --> <!-- start area --> <div class="cnnMorningJoltEmbed"> <div class="cnn_header">Must-See Photo</div> <div class="cnnMorningJoltEmbedPhoto"> <div><img src="http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.element/img/4.0/global/swapper/201404/140423.01.jpg" alt="Must-See Photo" title="Must-See Photo"/></div> <p>Albert Pujols hit two home runs Tuesday, propelling him into baseball's exclusive 500-home run club.
