Welcome to the home of Syracuse seniors Shannon Brushe, Bridget Looney, Kristin Brady, Christina Gibson and Stephanie Bissett, all members of the Orange lacrosse team, and their two friends Jillian Malm (third from right) and Darcy Benedict (far right). The seven-bedroom house on Euclid Avenue is in the heart of the University neighborhood, just adjacent to campus.

The kitchen may seem like the only room in the house devoid of any SU or lacrosse decor, but look closely; the 2007 Big East Championship and 'Cuse Award trophies sit on the shelf.

The sign of a disciplined team? A well-organized fridge, in which even the yogurt labels face the front. Shaw dining hall is a convenient two blocks away, but the girls keep their fridge stocked with all the college staples -- milk, yogurt, pasta sauce, chicken and chocolate syrup -- just in case.

On Sundays, Maryland natives Bissett, Brushe and Gibson put on their Baltimore Ravens gear and cheer on their team. The girls usually go to Harry's, a popular campus bar where Gibson also works, to watch the Ravens play, but they also enjoy lounging and watching football in their attic.

The attic walls are lined with prints of the team in action in the Carrier Dome and with other SU posters. With plenty of space and seating available, the girls plan on spending a lot of time in the attic once winter comes and the attic temperature drops.

The two favorite things about defender Christina Gibson's room are the pillows and curtains her mother made and the location. It's the only bedroom on the first floor, a fact which Gibson, who proclaims she likes to be in the middle of everything, loves.

A lacrosse stick is never far away for Gibson or any of the others.

The seven housemates -- Benedict, Looney, Brady, Malm, Bissett, Brushe and Gibson -- frequently gather in the living room, the social center of the house. Here, the girls watch TV, play board games and entertain friends and the rest of the lacrosse team.

Behind midfielder Bridget Looney's desk is an Australian flag bearing the signatures of teammates from the lacrosse team Looney played on while in Australia two summers ago.

Defender Stephanie Bissett decided her old Syracuse lacrosse jersey was the perfect decoration for above her bed.

Midfielder Shannon Brushe began framing records this summer and hopes one day to have an entire wall's worth. Fun fact: Brushe got her nickname "Silk" during a game of Catch Phrase, when a friend used the clue "smooth as Shannon."

Kristin Brady's second love is lacrosse, but her first is the piano. She has been playing since she was eight. When Brady isn't entertaining her roommates with a tune, Journey's Don't Stop Believing (the house's unofficial theme song) is usually blasting.

When not doing homework or eating meals out on the porch, Looney, Brushe, Gibson, Bissett and Brady like to grab their sticks, put on their goggles, sit around their table and make passers-by nervous. Just kidding.

Many reminders of past success -- including the 2007 'Cuse Award for best team and the 2007 Big East Championship trophy and poster -- line the living room and motivate Brady, Gibson, Bissett, Looney, Brushe and the preseason No. 4 Orange for the season ahead.

The girls are taking advantage of their spacious front porch while they still can, because once the bitter Syracuse winter hits the only thing they'll be able to do outside is shovel snow.
