Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson
Philadelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett only caught one pass for 25 yards against the Seahawks two weeks ago, but made his biggest play a day before the game. He took his girlfriend and "The Girls Next Door" co-star Kendra Wilkinson to the top of the Space Needle, got down on one knee and proposed. The shell-shocked Playmate said yes and they'll wed this summer. "Kendra Wilkinson has met someone who she would like to spend the rest of her life with," says her former boyfriend and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. "I have given her my blessing and will be giving her away at a very special wedding ceremony at the Playboy Mansion this coming June." Why do I get the feeling Baskett will regret the decision when he sees the other girls at the Mansion.

The President-elect spent Election Day playing basketball, which is something he'll probably do often at the White House when he builds a court inside his home. Something tells me this will also be used as a diplomacy tool as well. There's nothing like a good game of HORSE to settle matters of foreign policy.

'Melo has ditched his signature cornrow hairstyle this year in favor of a clean-cut look, which shouldn't be too hard to maintain considering his latest business venture. Anthony recently opened up a new barbershop, Studio 15, in downtown Denver. "I always wanted one," he says. "We've got the works." The real reason Anthony cut his hair, however, was that he lost a bet to a friend while playing "NBA Live" at his house. Video of the bet and Anthony's subsequent haircut were posted on YouTube and shows Anthony's girlfriend and MTV veejay LaLa Vazquez enjoying her man's new look. Now if he can only get the new-look Nuggets to play well.

Madonna and Alex Rodriguez
A-Rod was in the audience at Madonna's Dodger Stadium show last week and he's supposed to be following Madge to South America next month when she tours Brazil, Chile and Argentina. But don't think A-Rod still isn't playing the field. He's supposed to be at the Victoria's Secret Fashion show this week. It's one of the few big events in the Fall that A-Rod doesn't strike out at.

After failing to be the next Mary-Lou Retton in Beijing this summer, Alicia Sacramone is trying to become the next Lauren Conrad. If that's the case, I know some great script writers and actors who would be good for her new "reality" (wink, wink) show.

So Youk married Ben Affleck's former girlfriend Enza Sambataro last week, showing that he shares a little more than his love of the Red Sox with one of his favorite players.

Roy Jones Jr. and Joe Calzaghe
Super Joe recovered from looking more like Sloppy Joe after getting knocked down in the first round by Roy Jones Jr. With Jones' 40th birthday on the horizon and his best days five years behind him, this hopefully will be the last time we see him, but this is boxing, where fighters never know when to retire for good. I'm sure we'll see him in the ring again next year against Bernard Hopkins, another 40-something fighter who should permanently retire.

Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan
It looks like ESPN wants Lindsay Lohan to attend its Super Bowl party in Tampa so bad this year that they're willing to have her girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, DJ the event. And by DJ, I mean hit the play button on her poorly mixed iPod.

So Jerry O'Connell is not only a big sports fan, he could potentially be a future sports blogger. While in Louisiana filming a movie he filed a report for TheBigLead.com on the hysteria surrounding the "Saban Bowl" before LSU played Alabama. It was better than anything he's done in a while on screen.

Apparently Ashton Kutcher's gotten a new nickname from his freshman players at Harvard Westlake, who apparently want him gone and have nicknamed him "Ashton Doucher." Then again, the source on this is Star magazine, and while I don't doubt they have impeccable sources within the high school freshman football team, I can't imagine it would be terrible getting added attention and girls coming to games because of the presence of one coach, even if that coach is a tool.
