The Jets gave up a lot for a quarterback who, according to Pete Carroll, wasn't ready for the NFL yet. Then again, some might argue that based on his record, Carroll isn't the best judge of what works in the NFL. Thankfully for the Jets, there are no teams in Oregon, where Sanchez went 0-2 and threw late, game-clinching interceptions in both Eugene (against Oregon in 2007) and Corvallis (against Oregon State in 2008) to dash USC's national championship hopes.
I never thought I'd be uncomfortable watching Andrews, but her segments with Bill and Quan were perhaps the most awkward moments in draft history. It made me wish there was still a player waiting to be drafted in the green room on Sunday.

Kobe Bryant and Spike Lee
So are we supposed to be shocked about a report that Bryant gave Lee a hard time during the filming of Kobe Doin' Work (terrible title for the documentary, by the way)? The best part about the reported rift is that Stephen A. Smith had to step in and tell Lee to drive to Bryant's house to settle the issue of creative control, but Kobe wouldn't even meet with the filmmaker. Anyone else get the feeling that a documentary about the making of the documentary would be better than the actual documentary?

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
Finally, a celebrity couple sitting courtside at a Lakers game that embrace the attention that comes with sitting in front of cameras at a nationally televised sporting event. When Timberlake and Biel appeared on the jumbotron at the Staples Center last week, they didn't duck their heads but started making out instead. Something tells me Brangelina and TomKat wouldn't have had the same response.

Words can't possibly do justice to Weir's performance to Lady Gaga's Poker Face at a figure skating event in Korea last week. Even Will Ferrell's character in Blades of Glory, Chazz Michael Michaels, thought it was over the top. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGmPLOwVCtQ

Khloe Kardashian and Derrick Ward
It seems the only people who can keep up with the Kardashians are athletes. Khloe has moved on from Kings guard Rashad McCants to Buccaneers running back Ward. Maybe Kourtney will join the party and hook up with an overrated running back as well.

The 19-year-old jockey will be riding in his first Kentucky Derby, with I Want Revenge, and he's tweeting the whole experience at twitter.com/joetalamo. So far, he's enjoyed dinners at the Ivy, filmed scenes for a reality TV show and likes listening to Flo Rida. Horse racing my finally have a jockey who can appeal to fans under the age of 50.

Daisy De La Hoya
Oscar De La Hoya's career may be over, but his niece's, um, ''career'' is about to take off as she is the star of her own VH-1 reality show, Daisy of Love, following her forgettable stint on Rock of Love 2.: After being rejected by Bret Michaels, things can only get better for De La Hoya, right?

L.T. might have been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, but the Giants' legend may soon have a movie made about his life. Taylor was reportedly spotted with Tiki Barber and their agent, Mark Lepselter, with executives from State Street Pictures about a possible biopic about the linebacker's roller-coaster life. Here's hoping they skip that whole dancing episode at the end.

Abdul-Jabbar has trademarked the words "sky hook," the signature shot that helped the Hall of Famer become the greatest scorer in NBA history. Too bad it's a shot that's as outdated as his goggles, short shorts and LA Gear sneakers.
