Continuing with more notable cups from the world of sports, these enchanting Brazilian synchronized swimmers obviously had a ball at the adidas Brazuca launch in Rio de Janeiro. Brazuca, by the way, is the Official Match Ball -- strike it and it catches fire -- for the FIFA World Cup 2014 that will be held in Brazil.

It was launch time all around the world last week, and so we have a Falcon 9 SpaceX rocket lifting off from Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The rocket, carrying its first commercial payload -- a communications satellite and a crate of Hospitality Compact Bras -- was more successful than its namesake, the Atlanta Falcons, who plummeted back to Earth with an unsightly 3-9 record.
