LeBron James, Cavs coach David Blatt met on set of Judd Apatow movie
LeBron James and new Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt met for the first time last week on the set of a Judd Apatow movie, as reported in a profile of Blatt by Jack McCallum in this week's Sports Illustrated.
Blatt had briefly met LeBron at the last two Olympics, but they had a real get-together last week in New York City. James was finishing his thespian work on the Judd Apatow comedy Trainwreck, while Blatt was visiting his three daughters, who were on holiday. Coach and Franchise Player didn’t talk much basketball, but Blatt was ecstatic about how well they got on . . . and Shani, Adi and Ela were equally ecstatic about the Cleveland shopping tips from LeBron’s wife, Savannah.
ESPN.com previously reported James met Blatt for the first time on Tuesday.

Cavaliers rookie Andrew Wiggins recently said he has yet to speak to James since being drafted by Cleveland.
On Monday, it was reported a three-team deal that would involve sending Kevin Love to the Cavaliers and Wiggins to Minnesota is "done." Cleveland must wait until Aug. 23 before officially trading Wiggins because of an NBA rule that says draft picks cannot be traded for 30 days after signing with the team that drafted them.
