LeBron James and Suns guard Eric Bledsoe, who are good friends and share an agent, worked out in Cleveland on Friday, according to James' Instagram account.
James was trying to goad the Suns into giving Bledsoe a max contract, as he told Phoenix to "break bread" with the 24-year-old, who they offered a four-year, $48 million deal. Bledsoe is seeking a five-year, $84 million contract.
"Great work today lil bro @ebled2!! Future All-Star in this league in no time. PHX break bread. #Klutch #Work #GymRats #StriveForGreatness" the caption of the picture read.
Rich Paul represents both James and Bledsoe.
Bledsoe, who is in his fourth season out of Kentucky, averaged 17.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 43 games (40 starts) last season — his first with the Suns after three with the Clippers. He also shot 47.7 percent from the field.
