Seven Grizzlies players questionable for Friday's game with stomach flu
Friday November 21st, 2014

Seven Memphis Grizzlies players are questionable for Friday night's game against the Boston Celtics with a stomach virus, according to the Associated Press

Guards Tony Allen, Courtney Lee and Beno Udrih, forwards Jon Leuer and Jarnell Stokes, center Kosta Koufos and guard/forward Quincy Pondexter are all questionable with the virus.

All but Pondexter and Stokes did not play in the Grizzlies' game on Wednesday versus the Toronto Raptors because they were ill. Memphis had just 10 active players for that game and lost 96-92, its second loss of the season. The five players with the virus stayed at the team hotel after spending time at a Toronto hospital that day for dehydration.

Memphis had signed guard Kalin Lucas and center Hassan Whiteside for extra depth for Wednesday's game, but waived them on Thursday.

The Grizzlies (10-2) host the Celtics (4-6) on Friday.
