Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan left Friday's 106-102 loss against the Dallas Mavericks with a left groin strain.

DeRozan injured himself while driving to his right toward the Raptors' baseline. He slipped, and appeared to be in pain once he hit the ground. He exited the game with zero points on 0-for-8 shooting, four rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes.

DeRozan, 25, leads Toronto in points per game (20.7) and minutes per game (34.5). The sixth-year veteran made his first All-Star appearance last season for a Raptors team that reached the playoffs for the first time since 2007-08. He's is in the second year of the four-year, $38 million extension he signed with the Raptors in 2012.
