Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he expects shooting guard Klay Thompson to be ready for the start of the NBA Finals.
The Warriors announced on Friday that Thompson was diagnosed with a concussion following being kneed in the head during Game 5 of the Western Conference finals.
Kerr said Saturday that "all is going well" with Thompson, according to Spears.
Thompson must pass the NBA's concussion protocol in order to be cleared to play again. Golden State said Friday that he will be evaluated daily.
Thompson is averaging 19.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 15 postseason games.
