Report: DeAndre Jordan to meet with Clippers, Mavericks, Lakers, Knicks
Los Angeles Clippers center and unrestricted free agent DeAndre Jordan is expected to meet with the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Clippers once the free agent period begins, reportsUSA Today’s Sam Amick.
Jordan has spent the last seven seasons with the Clippers and had arguably his best season in 2014-15, leading the NBA in field goal percentage and rebounding. He earned All-NBA third team honors.
According to the report, the meetings are expected to take place in the offices of Jordan's representatives.
The Mavericks are expected to meet with Jordan on Wednesday, with the Knicks and Clippers to follow on Thursday. No date has been scheduled for a meeting with the Lakers.
The Milwaukee Bucks are also reportedly interested in Jordan, but the Mavericks are considered the favorite to land him should he leave Los Angeles, reports ESPN.com's Tim MacMahon.

Los Angeles can offer Jordan the most money in free agency, as he could potentially a sign a five-year deal worth approximately $109 million. If he were to sign anywhere else, he could receive a four-year maximum deal worth $81 million.
According to the ESPN report, if Dallas fails to sign Jordan, the Mavs will attempt to re-sign center Tyson Chandler, who was reacquired in a deal with the Knicks last summer.
Chandler said he understands that the league is a business and has no problems with the team going after Jordan in free agency.

"And at the end of the day, I get it. The franchise [has] to make the best decision for the franchise," Chandler said, according to ESPN. "Of course, I still feel like I can go, still have a lot to give. But at the end of the day, I feel like I'll make the best decision for myself and my family and the Mavericks will make the best decision for the organization."
