Free-agent forward Brandon Bass has agreed to join the Los Angeles Lakers, Yahoo's Marc J. Spears and Adrian Wojarowski report.

The details of Bass's contract will be worked out once the Lakers' other deals are finalized, according to the report. The Lakers are projected to be right up against the salary cap, taking into account the deals they have reportedly agreed to and a reported trade for Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert

Bass, 30, has missed just one game over the last three seasons. In 82 games with the Boston Celtics last season, he averaged 10.6 points and 4.9 assists.

The Lakers would be Bass's fifth NBA team as he enters his 11th season in the league. He spent the last four years in Boston after spending two years each with the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Hornets and Orlando Magic

In order to create cap space to sign Bass and other free agents, the Lakers could trade guard Nick Young or big men Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre, Yahoo reports.
