Sources: Danilo Gallinari finalizing two-year extension with Nuggets
Danilo Gallinari is finalizing a two-year, $31 million contract extension with the Nuggets and will also receive a raise this season, according to league sources.
As part of the agreement, Gallinari will receive a raise from $11.5 million in 2015-16 to $14 million, according to league sources. In total, the new contract is for three years and $45 million including this year's bump.
Gallinari, 26, averaged 12.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24.2 minutes per game for the Nuggets last season. He shot 40.1% from the field and 35.5% from deep while playing in 59 games and starting 27.

The contract extension cements Gallinari's place in the Nuggets' future. The 6'10", 225-pound forward is viewed as a key building block for Denver, which drafted Emmanuel Mudiay in the lottery of June's NBA draft and recently shipped Ty Lawson to the Rockets.
