Report: Lamar Odom suffered several mini strokes while unconscious
Lamar Odom suffered “several mini strokes” while he was unconscious, reports ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13 before being taken to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. He was eventually moved to a hospital in Los Angeles.
Odom was in a coma after a drug overdose which included cocaine and several sexual enhancement drugs. He has since woken up and spoken.
On Thursday, Odom’s family said his speech had improved and he was more cognitively responsive after undergoing therapy.

Odom played with the Lakers, Clippers, Heat and Mavericks during his 14-season NBA career. He won two championships with the Lakers in ’09–10, and was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011.
