MILWAUKEE (AP) The Milwaukee Bucks say Jason Kidd is expected to resume his coaching duties next week.

Kidd has been recovering from right hip surgery on Dec. 21. He has missed the last 15 games.

The Bucks say Thursday that Kidd will be back on the sideline for their game Tuesday against Orlando.

Kidd says he received a good report from his doctor last week in New York and is ahead of schedule on his recovery.

The Bucks (19-25) have gone 8-7 without Kidd and have two games remaining on their road trip.
