Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins left Saturday’s 121–117 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies with a left ankle sprain. X-rays were negative and the center is day-to-day, the team announced.

As Cousins and center Marc Gasol attempted to secure up a loose ball late in the fourth quarter, Gasol dove and fell on Cousins’s ankle, sending Cousins to the ground in pain.

He was helped to the locker room, and was unable to put ay weight on his left foot.
