Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes did not comment on Derek Fisher’s firing as head coach of the New York Knicks but shared an Instagram post without a caption on Monday.

Earlier in the season, Barnes was fined $35,000 for his comments before a game against the Knicks when he said “violence is never the answer, but sometimes it is.” The comment was in reference to his off-season incident with Fisher, in which Barnes reportedly punched Fisher in the face.
